Things to do in Walberswick

A village on the Suffolk coast across the River Blyth from Southwold

Accessible by footbridge (from Southwold harbour) or by a hand rowed ferry in the Spring and Summer months. By car, it is an eight mile drive around the estuary. Walberswick is a beautiful village with it's own village green and pretty houses.

Children and adults alike love the crabbing here which is fun any time of the year. During the first weekend in August, Walberswick hosts the UK's largest annual crabbing competition which anyone can enter. Also at Walberswick is a lovely sandy beach where children will love the sand dunes.
